Two agencies can both sell LinkedIn lead generation and deliver completely different things. One runs direct outreach from profiles. Another manages paid campaigns. A third adds LinkedIn follow-up to an email program. Comparing their retainers without separating those models is comparing unlike services.
This guide shortlists five providers and makes those differences explicit. BizDev Labs writes and appears in the guide, so this is a commercially interested buyer resource, not an independent ranking. We checked the linked public service pages on October 5, 2026. The recommendations describe possible fit; they are not audited results or promises.
For a multichannel view, read Top 10 BDR Agencies. Here, the first decision is whether you need direct conversations, paid reach or LinkedIn inside a wider outbound program.
LinkedIn agency shortlist
| Agency | Model | Consider when |
|---|---|---|
| BizDev Labs | LinkedIn within a specialist outbound pod | LinkedIn must coordinate with email and phone |
| Cleverly | Managed LinkedIn outreach, with adjacent outbound services | You want to evaluate a direct-outreach operator |
| Belkins | LinkedIn within a broader lead generation menu | Research and meeting handoff need a common owner |
| Impactable | LinkedIn-centered paid demand generation | You need paid distribution rather than profile outreach |
| B2Linked | Specialist LinkedIn Ads management | You want expertise focused on the advertising channel |
The paid providers are included to make the boundary clear. Buying advertising does not replace someone handling direct replies, and buying outreach does not include an advertising budget unless explicitly agreed.
Outreach versus LinkedIn Ads
Direct outreach starts with a target account list, relevant profiles and messages to specific people. The work includes profile readiness, research, copy, reply handling and coordinated follow-up. Connection acceptances are an intermediate signal, not the commercial result.
LinkedIn Ads distributes sponsored messages or content to an audience through paid campaigns. It requires creative, conversion tracking, a destination page and a budget for media in addition to agency work. A completed form is not automatically a qualified sales conversation.
Multichannel outbound uses LinkedIn alongside other ways of reaching the same account. It should have a common source of truth so a prospect does not receive contradictory messages from different specialists.
Choose the model before you compare vendors. If your offer is unclear or no one can respond to prospects, switching channels will not solve the underlying problem.
How we selected these providers
We chose providers with public descriptions of LinkedIn outreach, LinkedIn lead generation or LinkedIn advertising services. The shortlist intentionally includes different operating models rather than pretending every provider sells the same job.
Selection criteria are channel responsibility, targeting, handoff, client access and how the service fits the rest of your sales motion. We have not tested these agencies against each other. Public case studies can help you ask better questions but do not establish what your own campaign will achieve.
The five agency profiles
1. BizDev Labs: LinkedIn connected to the outbound system
BizDev Labs has a dedicated LinkedIn specialist working alongside strategy, GTM engineering, email and calling specialists. The point of that structure is coordinated execution: account targeting and conversation history should inform what happens next across channels.
Consider it when: LinkedIn is one part of a missing outbound engine, not a standalone marketing experiment. The published Prove Outbound plan starts at $3,000/month for email and LinkedIn. Calling is included in higher-capacity plans. Campaigns are live in 14 days; that is a launch commitment, not a guaranteed meeting outcome.
Ask before signing: whose profiles are used, who approves copy, how replies are handled, how account history is shared and what assets you keep. Explore LinkedIn outbound.
2. Cleverly: managed direct outreach
Cleverly's website describes B2B lead generation across LinkedIn, cold email and cold calling, including targeting, copy and personalized outreach. Evaluate the specific LinkedIn package rather than assuming every channel is bundled.
Consider it when: you want a provider to run direct outreach and can compare its proposed targeting with your current buyer list.
Ask before signing: what activity is managed, how replies are qualified, how much customization is included and who takes over an active conversation. Ask to see examples that sound like your company rather than an agency template.
3. Belkins: LinkedIn alongside lead research and appointment setting
Belkins' service menu includes LinkedIn lead generation alongside lead research, email, calling and appointment setting. Its relevance here is the possibility of coordinating LinkedIn with a broader program.
Consider it when: you want to discuss one brief covering targeting, several channels and the meeting handoff.
Ask before signing: which LinkedIn activities are actually contracted, how they fit the email sequence and how you will attribute a meeting influenced by several channels. Service availability does not mean inclusion in the quoted plan.
4. Impactable: paid LinkedIn demand generation
Impactable positions its service as LinkedIn-centered B2B demand generation, with paid campaign capabilities. This is an advertising-led option, not an interchangeable substitute for profile-based outreach.
Consider it when: you have content or an offer worth distributing, a credible destination page and the capacity to follow up on responses.
Ask before signing: what media budget is separate from the fee, how audience exclusions work, what conversion tracking is available and how sales feedback changes campaigns. Agree on qualified outcomes, not just clicks.
5. B2Linked: specialist LinkedIn advertising
B2Linked focuses on LinkedIn Ads. Its service positioning makes it relevant when you already know advertising is the channel you need to improve.
Consider it when: you want to investigate targeting, bidding and campaign management specifically within LinkedIn Ads rather than outsource a whole outbound team.
Ask before signing: who controls the advertising account, what creative work is included, how landing-page testing is handled and which reports your sales team can inspect. Your media budget and your management fee are different costs.
What a useful LinkedIn brief contains
Start with the accounts you want to reach, buyer roles, geographic boundaries and disqualifying criteria. Give the agency your offer in plain language: what changes for the buyer, what evidence supports it and why a conversation is worth their time.
For outreach, agree which profiles will be used and who handles responses. Keep control over account access and discuss LinkedIn's platform rules. Ask the provider to explain its approach to restrictions and account safety; do not accept a blanket promise that activity is risk-free.
For advertising, include the destination page, creative resources, media budget and an agreed definition of a sales-ready response. Establish who can change the ad account and where conversions are recorded.
In both models, define what happens after interest. A fast campaign with no follow-up owner simply creates a new bottleneck.
What to measure beyond connections and clicks
For direct outreach, follow relevant conversations, qualified meetings held and accepted opportunities. Connection rate can reveal a targeting or profile issue, but it does not tell you whether the campaign supports revenue.
For advertising, look at qualified responses and cost per accepted opportunity alongside spend and clicks. Lead volume alone can reward people who will never buy. Track how the sales team judges the responses, not only how the platform reports them.
For both, record account-level history. One opportunity may involve an ad exposure, an email reply and a later LinkedIn conversation. Avoid treating each touch as a different customer.
Questions to ask before signing
- Are we buying direct outreach, advertising or a combination?
- Who controls the profiles, advertising account and campaign data?
- Which audience exclusions will stop us contacting existing customers?
- Who handles replies and what makes a meeting qualified?
- What is included in the fee, and what is a separate cost?
- Can you show an actual message or campaign concept for our buyer?
- What evidence would cause us to change the offer rather than increase volume?
Choose the right LinkedIn model
If you need named-account conversations, evaluate direct outreach. If you need paid distribution, evaluate advertising specialists. If LinkedIn needs to reinforce email and phone, compare coordinated outbound teams.

Frequently asked questions
- Is LinkedIn lead generation the same as LinkedIn Ads?
- No. Direct outreach starts conversations with specific prospects through profiles and messages. LinkedIn Ads uses paid distribution. Some agencies offer both, but they require different scopes, budgets and reporting.
- What should I measure for LinkedIn outreach?
- Measure relevant conversations, qualified meetings held and accepted opportunities. Connection acceptance is a useful intermediate signal, not a revenue outcome.
- Can an agency guarantee LinkedIn account safety?
- A blanket risk-free promise is not a useful standard. Ask how the provider respects platform rules, handles account access and responds to restrictions, and agree who controls the profiles.
