Best BDR Recruiting Firms in 2026: 10 Firms That Hire SDRs and BDRs

10 firms that recruit SDRs and BDRs onto your payroll in the US and Canada: what each one does, how they charge and how to choose.

Updated · 10 min read · Roy Itzhaki, Founder and CEO

Short answer: The firms that recruit SDRs and BDRs for B2B tech companies in the US and Canada include BizDev Labs, Betts Recruiting, Sales Talent Inc., Treeline, Peak Sales Recruiting, Captivate Talent, CulverCareers, Sales Talent Agency, Alpha Apex Group and Hirewell. They differ most in three ways: how much of their work is SDR and BDR hiring rather than account executives and sales leaders, how they charge, and whether they guarantee the hire. Almost none publish their fees.

BizDev Labs publishes this guide and is listed first. Every other firm's details come from its own website unless we say otherwise, checked in November 2026. This list covers recruiters that place BDRs on your own payroll. Outsourced BDR agencies, which provide their own reps as a service, are not included.

    1. BizDev Labs

BizDev Labs is an outsourced BDR agency founded in 2020 that has run outbound for 250+ B2B companies. It hires, trains and manages BDRs for its own team every day, and it runs the same process to recruit BDRs onto clients' payrolls. Its callers are senior BDRs with deep cold calling experience, ranked top 1% in Nooks, and candidates it puts forward are held to the same bar.

The search is run by people who manage BDRs, not generalist recruiters. Founder Roy Itzhaki, a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree who was number one out of 16 SDRs on his team for 14 months straight, has interviewed hundreds of BDRs. Every candidate does a live cold call role-play before you meet them.

    • Who it's for: B2B SaaS and technology companies in the US and Canada hiring their first BDR or growing a BDR team.
    • Who it's not for: companies hiring junior, entry-level or straight-out-of-university BDRs, or hiring outside the US and Canada.
    • How you pay: a percentage of the hire's first-year salary. BizDev Labs shares the rate on the call.
    • Guarantee: if the hire leaves or doesn't work out in the first 90 days, BizDev Labs finds a replacement at no extra fee.
    • If you need meetings before you can hire: BizDev Labs can also run outbound for you with a dedicated team, live 14 days after signing.

    2. Betts Recruiting

Betts has recruited for sales, marketing and customer success roles since 2009, with offices across the US and in Toronto. It works across tech and tech-enabled industries, and "Sales Development Representative" is one of the featured roles on its site, alongside a remote hiring guide for SDR teams.

Betts offers contingency search for single hires and a Recruitment-as-a-Service subscription with unlimited hires, which it says costs about the same as one hire. Its own FAQ says companies with only one immediate hire may get more value from contingency search. It does not publish fees or a guarantee.

Best for: tech companies that expect to hire several SDRs or other sales roles in a year.

    04

    3. Sales Talent Inc.

Sales Talent Inc. is a Seattle-based search firm that recruits across the US and Canada. It fills sales roles including SDRs, sales engineers, customer success and sales leadership, for software, SaaS, AI and other B2B companies.

It works on contingency, with retained search for critical hires such as sales leaders. It says most of its hires come from reaching out directly to people who are already employed, not from job-board applicants. Instead of a guarantee, it commits to delivering 3 to 5 vetted candidates. Fees are not published.

Best for: B2B and SaaS companies that want passive candidates headhunted.

    05

    4. Treeline

Treeline is a sales recruiting firm in Wakefield, Massachusetts, near Boston, that recruits across the US. It focuses on sales roles, especially account executives and SaaS sales, and publishes guidance on hiring SDRs and BDRs.

Its contingency service has no upfront cost: a fee is only charged when you hire. Treeline says it presents a first candidate within 3 days and fills roles in under 30 days. Its current fee is not published.

Best for: US companies hiring SDRs and early-career AEs that only want to pay when someone is hired.

    06

    5. Peak Sales Recruiting

Peak recruits B2B salespeople from offices across the US and Canada, including Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary. Its software sales page lists SDR and BDR roles, though its positioning leans toward account executives, sales managers and senior sales leaders.

Peak sells sales executive search and Sales Team RPO, with a four-step process that includes candidate testing. It publishes a performance guarantee: if a hire isn't making progress within the agreed timeframe, Peak finds a replacement and doesn't charge for its time and expenses. Fees are not published.

Best for: companies that want an assessment-heavy process and a performance guarantee, especially for AE and leadership hires.

    07

    6. Captivate Talent

Captivate Talent is a New York firm that recruits go-to-market roles for startups and growth-stage SaaS companies. Its site lists Senior SDR, Senior BDR and Sales Development Manager roles and says it can build a business development team from scratch.

Each search gets a dedicated recruiter. Captivate does not publish fees or a guarantee.

Best for: venture-backed SaaS startups making their first SDR or BDR hires.

    08

    7. CulverCareers

CulverCareers is a sales and marketing recruiter with more than 40 years in business. It recruits across the US, from entry-level to C-level, in industries including tech and SaaS and healthcare. Its site lists Sales Development Representative and Business Development Representative among the roles it fills. It does not publish its model, fees or a guarantee.

Best for: companies that want a long-established sales recruiter covering SDRs through leadership.

    09

    8. Sales Talent Agency

Sales Talent Agency is a Toronto-based sales recruiter. Its G2 profile says it searches throughout North America for BDRs, account executives, sales managers and CROs, and uses its own candidate assessment. It does not publish fees or a guarantee. Not to be confused with Sales Talent Inc. in Seattle, which is a separate firm.

Best for: Canadian companies that want BDR candidates and a formal assessment.

    10

    9. Alpha Apex Group

Alpha Apex Group is a Denver firm that recruits tech and software sales professionals and also offers RPO and executive search. Its own guides describe its coverage as running from SDRs to CROs. It says it delivers first candidates within 72 hours. Fees are not published on its site.

Best for: tech companies that want a fast first shortlist, or that may also need leadership search.

    11

    10. Hirewell

Hirewell is a Chicago recruiting firm with practices in sales, technology, marketing and other functions. It offers search, staffing and embedded on-demand recruiting. In 2022 it acquired Rainmakers, a platform for tech sales talent. Hirewell is less focused on SDR and BDR hiring than the firms above, and does not publish fees.

Best for: companies that want recruiting help across sales and other functions at once.

How to choose a BDR recruiting firm

    1. Check how much of their work is SDRs and BDRs. Many sales recruiters mostly place account executives and sales leaders. Ask how many SDR and BDR roles they filled in the last year.
    2. Ask how they screen. A BDR's job is to get a stranger to agree to a meeting. Ask whether candidates do a live cold call role-play, and who runs it.
    3. Ask who does the screening. Someone who has managed BDRs will spot problems that a generalist recruiter won't.
    4. Get the fee and the guarantee in writing. Ask whether the fee is based on base salary or on-target earnings, when it's due, and how long the replacement guarantee lasts.
    5. Match the model to your volume. For one hire, contingency search is usually enough. For a team, a subscription or embedded recruiter can cost less per hire.
    6. Check where they recruit. Confirm they cover the city or region you need, and whether the role is remote.

    FAQ

What does a BDR recruiting firm do?

It finds, screens and presents candidates for business development and sales development roles, and you hire the person onto your own payroll. That's different from an outsourced BDR agency, which provides its own reps as a service.

How much does it cost to hire a BDR through a recruiter?

Most recruiters don't publish their fees. Contingency search, where you only pay if you hire, is common: Betts, Sales Talent Inc. and Treeline all offer it. BizDev Labs charges a percentage of the hire's first-year salary, shares the rate on the call, and includes a 90-day free replacement.

How long does it take to hire a BDR through a recruiter?

Firms' own claims range from first candidates within 3 days (Treeline) or 72 hours (Alpha Apex Group) to hires in under 30 days (Treeline) or a 43-day average fill (Alpha Apex Group). Plan for the new BDR to need time to ramp after they start.

Which firms recruit BDRs in Canada?

BizDev Labs and Sales Talent Agency are based in Toronto. Sales Talent Inc. recruits across the US and Canada, Peak Sales Recruiting has offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary, and Betts has a Toronto office.

Should I hire a BDR or use an outsourced BDR agency?

Hire when you want the skill on your team long term and have someone to manage the role. Outsource when you need meetings sooner, or want to prove outbound works before hiring. Some companies do both: BizDev Labs can run outbound while it recruits your BDR.
